In this New Year, I've decided to focus on building a daily creative practice and blog more regularly.
To that end, I'm participating in "Create Daily" by Alisa Burke (yes - I'm taking another of her awesome online classes).
Today, I took several hours to declutter and rearrange the furniture in my Studio in order to make space to create. This is what it looked like this morning:
Office Space & Supply Storage - Before
Clutter on Floor and Sofa - Before
Workspace - Before
Here is what it looks like now:
Office and Supply Storage - After
Workspace - After
Sofa and Floor - After
New - 2nd Workspace & Media Center
Yes - it needs to be "arted up" and fine tuned over time. It feels so much lighter and more energetic, doesn't it?
I have a confession to make. I almost blew this challenge off because every time I entered this room I felt completely overwhelmed and unmotivated due to the clutter and disorganization. Extremely glad that I invested the time to make a creative space that is comfortable with clear, organized work spaces that will contribute greatly toward creating a daily creative practice.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers,
Karen
