Happy 2013

Hello Beautiful Ones,

It seems ages since the last post.  This New Year has me excited about "possibilites" and "creative dreams." 

So here's what is going on in my little corner of the world :)

So happy to be on the receiving end of an extremly wonderful gift - a year long mixed media workshop called Life Book 2013.  So far, Life Book 2013 has taught me to:

• Step out of my confort zone and allow the Muse to speak to and through me.
• Stop the negative self-talk - "My art isn't good enough."  "This person's art is so much better than mine."
• Stop comparing and measuring my art to that of other people.
• Most importantly - it has taught me to be present in the moment and open to developing my process.

Life Book 2013 has opened up a world of color and beauty from inside me that are expressed and manifest as:

 

I began the year by designing by designing and creating a personal Oracle Deck on index cards using magazine images.  Upon opening the gift of Life Book 2013, I was inspired to create  my Art Fairy, the lovely meditating figure surrounded by wonderful words of qualities I wish to draw into my life, and the Radiating Love Goddess and Blue Heart collages.

Love this incredible  group of Women who have gathered together to support the feminine.  It is not necessarily about Goddess worship.  It is about seeking and connecting with our feminine power through creativity, clearing up our home spaces, nurturing our minds and nourishing our bodies.  Please go check out the link if this resonates with you.
